Clark Witherspoon Legacy Reunion on November 8, 2019

Drs. Lawrence Mozell Clark, Sr. and Augustus McIver Witherspoon have left a lifelong legacy of pride, excellence and thirst for the betterment of humanity in the hearts and minds of the North Carolina State University community. Their legacies entwine a culturally diverse mixture of students, staff and professionals who sojourned to West Africa in 1989 through 1995. These students and staff have now come back to celebrate the legacy of these great visionaries who have inspired them to become astute professionals that touch the lives of others.

A PAR approach to International Development for Schools in Ghana

Kwame Gyamfi implemented a International Development project using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology. This effort made it possible to provide electricity for a local school in Teshie Nungua, Ghana. The Teshie Estates Prepartory School (TEPS) embraced the PAR method, and school administrators decided that the most important area to be targeted for development were a school earmarked for development were a functional library and adequate lighting.
